Amendment 1 list the five freedoms of the people. They are: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Press, Freedom of Petition, Freedom of Assembly, and Freedom of Religion.
Amendment 2
Amendment 2 states that people have the freedom to bear arms. This means that people have the right to own and carry weapons.
Amendment 3
Amendment 3 prevents the quartering of soldiers in home. This means that people do not have to let soldiers live in their home.
Amendment 4
Amendment 4 protects people from unreasonable searches without a warrant.
Amendment 5
Amendment 5 protects criminals rights in a trial. These include rights to due process as well as preventing double jeopardy.
Amendment 6
Amendment 6 protects people right to a fair and speedy trial, among other things.
Amendment 7
Amendment 7 details the rights of people to have a jury in civil cases.
Amendment 8
Amendment 8 prevents cruel and unusual punishment as well as excessive fines.
Amendment 9
Amendment 9 states that there are rights other than listed in the constitution.
Amendment 10
Amendment 10 limits the rights of the federal government to those listed in the constitution.
