Article 1 describes the new bicameral legislature. The first house is the Senate. In the senate, each state has 2 representatives. The second house is the House of Representatives, which is based on population.

Article 2 explains the powers of the new executive branch. It would be run by a president.

Article 3 explains the powers of the new judicial branches. They would interpret the laws.

Article 4 explains states relations to one another and the national government.
ARTICLE 5
Article 5 details the process of adding amendments to the constitution.
ARTICLE 6
Article 6 lays down the supremacy clause. The supremacy clause states that the constitution is the supreme law of the land.
ARTICLE 7
Article 7 states the process of ratification of the constitution.
